Known for her passionate portrayals of the heroines of Italian and French opera, Russian-American soprano Dina Kuznetsova has already attracted the attention of the world’s major opera companies for her outstanding musicianship and compelling stage presence.

The 2008/09 season is highlighted by Ms. Kuznetsova’s debut at the Glyndebourne Festival as Alice Ford in a new Richard Jones production of Falstaff, conducted by Vladimir Jurowski. She debuts with the Arizona Opera as Adina in L' Elisir D’Amore and understudies the role Violetta in La Traviata at the Metropolitan Opera. Prestigious chamber music engagements include appearances with the New York Festival of Song and the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center .

The 2007/08 season is highlighted by Dina Kuznetsova's role debut as Tatyana in Yevgeny Onegin opposite Dmitri Hvorostovsky and conducted by Sir Andrew Davis in a return to Lyric Opera of Chicago. She also returns to San Francisco Opera as Pamina in Die Zauberflöte conducted by Donald Runnicles and makes her Vienna State Opera debut as Gounod's Juliette.

Highlights in the current 2006-2007 season include a return to the Lyric Opera of Chicago as Gounod’s Juliette and her Royal Opera, Covent Garden debut as Lauretta in a new production of Gianni Schicchi conducted by Antonio Pappano.

Dina Kuznetsova is an alumna of the Ryan Opera Center at Lyric Opera of Chicago. With that company, she has performed Gilda in a new production of Rigoletto by Stefano Vizioli conducted by Jesus Lopez-Cobos and the title role of Janacek’s The Cunning Little Vixen in a new production conducted by Sir Andrew Davis. According to Chicago Opera Review "Russian lyric soprano Dina Kuznetsova is adorable as the Vixen. She can act and sing, and is able to carry off the tortuous high tessitura of the role with astonishing ease. She is clearly a talent on a meteoric trajectory." Dina Kuznetsova made her role debut as Violetta  with Opera Pacific, and her debut as Musetta with San Francisco Opera.

In previous seasons, Dina Kuznetsova made her debut with the Bayerische Staatsoper in title role of Handel’s Rodelinda.  This was followed by her London debut as Giulietta in I Capuleti ed I Montecchi with English National Opera to great critical acclaim.  Dina Kuznetsova  sang her first performances of Gilda for her debut with Boston Lyric Opera. Her debut at the Deutsche Staatsoper Berlin was as Donna Anna in Don Giovanni conducted by Daniel Barenboim and opposite Rene Pape.  She returned there for as Adina (role debut) in a new production of L’Elisir d’Amore at the Berlin Staatsoper opposite Rolando Villazon. 

 A passionate recitalist and chamber musician, Dina Kuznetsova has performed often with the New York Festival in programs ranging from Dvorak, zarzuela to the songs of Pauline Garcia-Viardot.
